  1. Amen to that! Breastfeeding is amazing and I've loved every second of it but I think it's helped my body cling on to the weight I gained. I'm so happy to know there are other moms in my same position that are doing something about it!
  2. I decided to start running recently after I got tired of avoiding mirrors and using headaches as an excuse to keep my husband on his side of the bed at night. I have an athletic body build and most of my life I've been just fine with how I looked. During my pregnancy I gained 50lbs and everyone kept telling me it'll melt off once you have the baby and you'll bounce right back. Well bounce back I did not. It has now been almost 11 months since our daughter was born and I have maintained most of the weight I gained when I was 9 months pregnant. So I decided to actually do something about it. I've never felt more uncomfortable in my own skin and I'm hoping that not only will I be able to lose a little weight during this but that I will actually come to love my body again.
