Hello all,
I am hoping that by starting things here I have some additional encouragement to actually get through this. I've tried using the C25K app many times, but never get past the first week. I end up hurting to much and don't want to continue.
So, a little about me.
41, married, 2 kids (9 & 12). 270 lbs, 6' tall. High BP, borderline high Cholesterol, really out of shape (as if you couldn't already guess that).
Goals
I don't really care about running a 5k. My daughter would like me to run a 5k with her though. I just want to lose some weight, be able to keep up with my kids, and enjoy the summer with them a little more. The additional side effects are just a bonus.
