  1. Aloha from Oahu,Hawaii. I recently started the C25K and am stuck in week 4. I have been training on the treadmill and I find myself gasping for air after only 3 minutes. BUT just pass Sunday I decided to go outdoors and try and jog holy smoly.....I jogged a good 15 minutes straight. I did not have difficulty breathing or jogging. It was at a slow pace but I could not achieve that on the treadmill. Has anyone experienced what I experienced? I actually enjoyed the outdoors by far! I will start the C25K again starting on week 5 and see how that goes.....wanted to share this, ALOHA
  2. ALOHA!! i have started off and I am still on week 2. For me it's the "BREATHING" I cant seem to get it where I am not gasping for air. I am praying I can move forward with this plan. any suggestions on my breathing?? Yes, I am on the beautiful island of Oahu. There are many places for me to run, but right now I am trying it out on the treadmill first. I am excited that I am at least up to week 2. Aloha for now and mahalo for your comments! :-)
  3. I am blessed that I found this site! I've always wanted to become a runner but I had a hard time getting myself to just "DO IT". I will be starting my Week 1 on Monday. I have been going to the gym for about a couple of months now. But did not have a plan, just working out on the Elliptical for 30 mins then the treadmill for another 30 minutes 3x a week. But my ultimate goal is to start running and the do a 5K...yay. Slow and at a pace that I can handle for now, but ecxited to start on Monday!!! Any comments greatly appreciated!!
