I am 50+ and lost 50+ lbs in the last two years. I have MS and want to be a runner..... But my body is fighting me.... I struggle with calf pain...and I also get overheated and then MS symptoms of heavy legs, balance and gait interfere with my running. I have started C25k three times in the last year but cannot get past week 3 so I give up.
I walk and/or jog five miles a day...I start with the c25k and when that is over, I walk the rest at a fast pace... I would say around 4.25 miles per hour....it usually takes me 1 hour and 15 minutes to go just over 5 miles. How can I break through and get past week three.....
