Hi, Dawni04! I am dhens13. Well, I obviously have a real name but after reading all of their guidelines, I do not know if I can share it or not! LOL I am a 30-Something aspiring author and poet who also suffers from depression and I am at my near-heaviest, if not heaviest weight ever, at this point in time. So I completely understand you wanting to take control of all the aspects of your life your depression had taken from you (my social life, house-cleaning/organizational system, and personal hygiene have been known to fall to the wayside when I am depressed, as well, so I totally get you there) and I 100-percent can relate to wanting to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. One thing I think I can point out to you from reading all of the introductory material is that you are meant to take at least one rest day, if not two, in between the scheduled workouts since there are only 3 workouts scheduled per week. I believe it is so that your body can have rest and recovery time between workouts, which is essential if you do not want to injure yourself or over exert your body. Just something I gleaned from all of the introductory material! I would love to be Accountabilibuddies with you, as the My Fitness Pal Diet and Exercise Tracker app refers to the people in your life who support you on your path to a healthier lifestyle by offering you encouragement as they forge their own path to a healthier lifestyle. I think there might be a way for the two of us to chat within the C25K app or private message through the app, so we will have to see if we can figure that out!
