I started doing the barefoot thing a few years ago, but this is the first time I've run. So far I'm doing well. My shins were sore when I first started, so I did a couple of extra week 1 workouts with lots of rest in between days. I'm only doing 2 runs a week barefoot. I'm trying to find more grassy places to run, but xeroscaping seems to be taking over. Anyone have any tips or tricks for someone just starting out?
