Hi everyone! I can't believe I just found these forums because I could have REALLY used them a few days ago.
My name is Jessica. I'm 35 and from Boston. I signed up for a 10k in May but I'm falling way behind on my training. I just finished Week 6 / Day 3 after many, many tries.
Every time I can't finish a day I get discouraged and want to quit. But today I decided to slow way down and push through (I almost threw up afterward but that's ok! ). I had been running at 4.9ish on the treadmill and now I'm realizing that's just too fast for me. I am 70 pounds overweight and it's no wonder my legs always hurt.
I'm looking forward to finding motivation and support in these forums! Nice to meet you all!
