Hey there everyone. I'm from Queensland, Australia and I've got a few questions. I haven't done a lot of running, but I'm trying to get into it and I've been doing the 5km parkruns, and I've done a few 5km fun run races over the last 6months. I'm finding that I can't jog the whole way and I'm coming in around the 40min mark. I've downloaded the C25K app and I'm unsure whether I should start at the beginning of the 5K programme, or a few weeks into the programme or where?
Also for training on the 5K app, should I be doing it on a 800m track or any flat roads, or can it be flat and hills? where I live is quite hilly - yea for me!
My first goal is I'd like to the 5K in a decent time - say around 30mins (or sub 30) as soon as possible. Any suggestions on my best course of action to take would be appreciated.
My ultimate goal is to do the 10K for a race in September, but obviously I have to conquer the 5K first!
Thanks!
