So I completed day one of week one last night on my home treadmill. After not running for 6 months due to having a new partner and being loved up, it is now time to get back into fitness as the weight has crept on slowly.
I had to stop half way through to re cooperate and prevent a full on heart attack lol but carried on and completed it. I sweated like a pig and felt like I was dying. But it will get better. My aim is to work up to a 10K run and also a mud run in the summer and to obviously lose about 2 stone and improve my fitness.
I overhauled my diet about 3 weeks ago. Yes over Christmas too! Lost about 10 lbs since then.
I do find running really boring so I'm probably going to start with just this app and as I improve I'm going to incorporate some strength training. I have the whole of jan off uni so hopefully I can make a serious improvement in that time.
