Hi, I am new here. I am a slow runner. 11-12 min miles typically
I have run 2 1/2 marathons and I am currently training for the NYC marathon.
I have been training for awhile so I just jumped into the right week for when the NYC Marathon is ( November 1st, so I started the program at week 9)
I don't understand the Marathon app and how it's based on time not my pace. Is there a way to set pace to reflect my slower times or is the intent for me to work on my pace so that I can actually complete the Marathon in 4 hours 30 minutes, which right now seems impossible and I am only 11 weeks out from race day.
Can someone give me some advice?
