just found this forum so thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 56 and live in a rural location in the east of England. I've just done the first day of week 3 and I'm still alive to tell the tale! I thought I'd have a go at getting fitter but without resorting to a gym. I'm waiting to see whether I got an entry into the London Marathon ( idiot that I am) so am determined to do this. Most of my route is on footpaths and fields which is a lot harder than pavements. Look forward to hearing from anyone.
