Advice on sports bras?

Ok Ladies I need some advice.  There's no way to ask this without being blunt, but I need some help keeping "the girls" from jiggling so bad when I run.  I have been blessed with an ample chest and I'm having trouble finding a sports bra that will reign them in.  I have gone as far as buying one that's a couple of sizes too small and geez it hurts!  When I run they run too and it's becoming very uncomfortable on the days that I run the track or outdoors.  I don't want to have to choose between being able to breathe or bruising my boobs and I'm sure that I'm not alone in this struggle so can anyone give me any advice on a great sports bra?

Hi Farmgirl and Mom37,

Thanks Mom37, I will look into those.  I have been buying the Xersion tops for years, bra in a top.  THey are great.  I hate tight anything, so I have even snipped the sides of the inside bra, and they dont jiggle much.   I am annoyed that I used to buy these tops at JcPenneys all the time and now they are selling tops and bras seperate now.  Glad I have a huge stash.   Xersion is a great brand.  I will def look in the shock one.  thanks

I use the Panache sports bra - I would really recommend going to a bra shop to get fitted. There's one specifically for sports bras for DD and up where I live that has SAVED my life! They get you on a treadmill and really let you see how you feel!

Thanks for the advice Kate!  However, there are no shops quite like this anywhere near me.  I've looked for running shops too where I could have my running style analyzed to recommend good shoes but this would be a day trip for me LOL!  It's a sacrifice that I have to make for my rural mountain paradise living I guess :)   I will, however, check out these brands online to see if I can find something that fits both my chest and my budget.

If you are bigger, look for something in the uk or start in "storm in a d cup". I'm an Aussie g cup who has enough trouble buying day to day bras let alone a sports bra. They are near to non existent!

I'm big chested myself, and I always have to make sure the bra indicates that it's for high intensity workouts. I've had good luck with Old Navy sports bras and Champion. I'm cheap, so I don't like to pay a lot of $ for stuff lol I was surprised at how well ON sports bras held the girls in without suffocating me.
