Treadmill vs Outdoors

Aloha from Oahu,Hawaii.

 

I recently started the C25K and am stuck in week 4. I have been training on the treadmill and I find myself gasping for air after only 3 minutes. BUT just pass Sunday I decided to go outdoors and try and jog holy smoly.....I jogged a good 15 minutes straight. I did not have difficulty breathing or jogging. It was at a slow pace but I could not achieve that on the treadmill. Has anyone experienced what I experienced? I actually enjoyed the outdoors by far! I will start the C25K again starting on week 5 and see how that goes.....wanted to share this, ALOHA :D
