purpul 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2014 I am an overweight newbie and need advice on running shorts/shirts. Cotton or that wicking fabric? Thanks.
roseinkc 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2014 Wicking fabric is definitely better than cotton. Male or female? I'm an overweight female and love, love, love running skirts. Way better for me than running shorts. http://www.runningskirts.com (There are other brands but this will give you an idea.)

Guest Katie Report post Posted September 5, 2014 Body glide is like a deodorant roll on stick that they sell at dicks sporting goods and helps alot
KellyAnn 281 Report post Posted September 5, 2014 I bought ones from JcPennys called Xersion. They have underwear attached and the waist cinches. Then I do not have to worry about undies riding up. They stay put.
Guest Jen Report post Posted September 7, 2014 Old navy makes compression capris and I highly recommend them! I find them confit able to run in and they help shape my legs and belly so I feel good in them too!
farmgirl 13 Report post Posted September 10, 2014 Honestly the only way that I've found to avoid chub rub is to wear capris. Danskin makes a very comfy moisture wicking capri and you can find them at Walmart or on Walmart's website. Very reasonably priced. Maybe after I lose weight I can rock some shorts when running but right now they just ride up too much and capri's give me one less thing to worry about LOL! 1 tee1976 reacted to this
