I have a day hike pack I use with my camelbak inside. It has a chest and waist strap so it doesn't bounce but it definitely adds back heat. I just balance it out by wearing short sleeves or tanks when I run.

Lulu lemon's Ta Ta Tamer II for C-E cups. It's not the cheapest but I love it so much I own several and have had them all for a very long time.

I prance too! I'm training myself to barefoot run and the correct form is definitely a prance compared to the regular heel to toe stride one normally associates with running. I'm thinking of having a reindeer shirt made up with antlers and 'Prancer' written across it. Good news is that I am much more aware of how my legs and hips are reacting to the movement, especially since health conditions require me to run with care. Cheers fellow Prancer!

Hey, name's B and I 'celebrated' my 40th bday a few months ago at my heaviest weight, suffering depression and at a pretty low spot in my life. Fortunately I had a support system that helped me turn it around. Part of my plan of attack has to be getting back in shape. Started c25k because running is an activity I used to enjoy, easy on equipment and simple. Tackling this challenge as a barefoot runner though out of need to be more mindful physically while I do this. Did day one twice and am feeling pretty good after the second attempt. Here I go!
Got to week 7 but am going back to week 5

Sooo I am Canadian and read kilometres whenever I see distance. Silly me. I neither am able to switch the c25k main screen to km during my run nor was I reading the directions carefully. I knew something was up when in week 7 it only had me doing 2.5. That's miles. Lessons learned:
1. I am really slow (meh, I'm running in minimalist shoes with osteoarthritis and the intention of being mindful of my body)
2. My route of approx 4km finishes with about 1.6 km of hill. Being that I just discovered my distance issue, this is the first time I encountered these hills and the first time I've attempted this length of run. Not the best combo for morale.
3. I am perfectly happy to step back a few weeks of training and work on speeding up and prepping for those hills. When I do Mud Hero again next summer I'd like the initial ski hill up not to bust my butt:). Here's to learning something new!
