  1. I'm currently on a keto diet, low carb high fat. After a while of doing this you go into a state of ketosis. The body begins to burn fat as it's main fuel source. Because fat is the most efficient fuel, I always have energy and don't need to carb load. When I have my re-feed days (cheat day) I can tell a big difference if I eat something with sugar or carbs. Almost feel sick.
