	As we are living a busy lifestyle, it’s very difficult to find time for exercising. Most of the workout regimens such as cardio and weight training etc. demand long hours.
</p>

<p>
	Due to this reason, the effectiveness of HIIT workouts cannot be ignored. If you are jogging on a treadmill for 45-mins, you still won’t burn as many calories as you could have burned through a 10-minute HIIT <a href="https://www.borntough.com/blogs/news/this-hiit-treadmill-workout-is-proving-successful?_pos=1&amp;_sid=547a28086&amp;_ss=r" rel="external nofollow">treadmill </a>workout.

<p>
	This proves the effectiveness of these workouts when considering time and results.

<p>
	Researches have proven that while you are doing a HIIT on the treadmill, you are burning more calories than you would be burning in a typical <a href="https://www.elitesports.com/blogs/news/here-are-the-best-cardio-boxing-workouts-to-get-you-in-serious-shape?_pos=1&amp;_sid=290bb06e4&amp;_ss=r" rel="external nofollow">cardio </a>session.

<p>
	It is one of the most convenient ways of losing weight as you don’t have to spend long hours working out.

	I've been reading around the subreddit (somewhat new, have been lurking for a month or two), but I haven't seen much information on how you guys feel about treadmills. There are a lot of mentions about roads and trails, but not much about treadmills. I live in Georgia so the heat and humidity is unbearable 3/4 of the year, so I value the climate control in the gym--plus I'm in there anyway 3x a week doing lifting.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;border:0px;color:#1a1a1b;font-size:14px;padding:.8em 0px .25em;vertical-align:baseline;">
	I have about 20-30 pounds to lose, 15 of which is that darn Holiday Weight I'm still trying to fight off. I've struggled with food addiction for a long time, but that isn't really relevant to this post, so I digress <img alt=":)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://forums.zenlabsfitness.com/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png" srcset="https://forums.zenlabsfitness.com/uploads/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" /> I can swim laps in an olympic pool for almost 2 hours without having to stop, but man running is a challenge.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;border:0px;color:#1a1a1b;font-size:14px;padding:.8em 0px .25em;vertical-align:baseline;">
	I don't even feel like I'm running! On the treadmill I get a jog going at 5mph pace but I can't go for longer than 10 minutes or so, with my longest time being 12 minutes without stopping. I've been reading that I possibly need to slow down, but what is the difference between running and jogging? Is there a difference?
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;border:0px;color:#1a1a1b;font-size:14px;padding:.8em 0px 0px;vertical-align:baseline;">
	Even at my peak levels of fitness I was on a stepper, not running the treadmill. Obviously right

	<span style="color:#1155cc;font-size:10pt;"><a href="https://nox.tips/" rel="external nofollow">https://nox.tips/</a> </span> now my goals are heavily on the weight loss side rather than training for actual marathons and I hope that's OK with you guys on this sub.

<p>
	My wife has been asking for a treadmill for a while now and I'm thinking of getting her one for her birthday. She's an avid runner and we live in a desert that's too cold to run in the winter and brutally hot to run in the summer. I'm torn on getting her a compact treadmill that's easy to store, or just commiting more space in the house to house an incline trainer. This is the <a href="https://www.nordictrack.com/treadmills/nordictrack-x11i-incline-trainer" rel="external nofollow">incline trainer</a> I've had my eye on. Does anybody have experience with it?
</p>

<p>
	I want to make sure she'll use it enough and I don't know if the incline feature is a daily, weekly, or whenever you're feeling it kind of thing.
</p>

<p>
	Advice or suggestions from the community is totally appreciated <img alt=":)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://forums.zenlabsfitness.com/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png" srcset="https://forums.zenlabsfitness.com/uploads/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" /></p>

	Ok all you treadmill people. I’m having a problem with static electricity building up when I am running on my treadmill. After rinning for a bit, if I touch the handles I get a little zap. Like when you shuffle your feet on the carpet and than touch someone LOL
</p>

<p>
	Any ideas? Other than intermittently touching the handles to discharge the build up. My guess is when it warms up and the furnace isn’t on this will stop. I’ve got a ways to go until that happens <img alt=":lol:" data-emoticon="" src="https://forums.zenlabsfitness.com/uploads/emoticons/default_laugh.png" title=":lol:" /></p>

We are hoping that we can start getting our cardio workouts in at home so we can spend some more time together is the goal. We have been looking at the <a href="https://www.treadmillreviews.com/nordictrack-commercial-1750-treadmill-review/" rel="external nofollow">NordicTrack Commercial 1750</a> but we aren't sure. That review helped out a lot but is there anyone else that has some experience on it as well? Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing more.
