  4. Hi! Srijan here, 28 year old man. I've been battling Clinical Depression for around 14-15 years. I was always a little overweight; I'm almost 30 kgs over my ideal weight now. Plus I'm borderline diabetic. Let's just say things have been getting out of hand! I remember watching a video of runners finishing the Boston Marathon. The gamut of emotions on display made me want to experience the pain, ecstasy and relief of completing, if not a marathon, at least a 10k run. So here I am, after a lot of false starts, starting yet again. My treatment 's finally started to show results. This time I intend to run my first 5k in July. Finished Day 1 today. Felt like I was going to die! But I made it. I hope to get some motivation from the members of this forum. And for my friends who've just started this journey, hang in there. You'll get better, stronger and faster! Cheers!
